ARTIST STATEMENT

My practice is a slow investigation through different media. 

Currently I am developing multiple series of digital works, responding to the uprising of NFTs. Whilst I do own a tiny amount of crypto myself (which was a crap investment btw), I feel the act of trying to own a digital artwork is pointless. When applied to a society, this behaviour and trend borders on insanity.   

As for the work itself, mostly I attempt to analyse & define my moral / political identity against the current social landscape.

Autobiographical works contain direct story telling motifs, providing a curious insight in to a self-declared identity and perspective.

My work is often naïve and flies in the face of harsh fundamental truths. I often work with pessimistic themes but try to sugar coat this in a peculiar humour.
